I build AI systems people can rely on.

I’m Daniel Martinez, a Senior AI Engineer based in Dresden. My work spans customer-facing AI assistants, agentic financial workflows, computer vision, and reinforcement learning research.

I take systems from discovery through deployment and evaluation. For an appliance retailer, I mapped support intents and policy risks, then shipped an assistant handling more than 1,000 tickets a month. For a fintech platform, I owned the architecture and delivery of six services on GCP.

Research still shapes how I work. At TU Dresden and CIO, I built experimentation tools and simulation testbeds to compare model behavior under controlled edge cases. I’m a Ph.D. candidate in Science and Technology, with my defense expected in December 2026.

I work in English, German, and Spanish, and enjoy making the reasoning behind a system as clear as its interface.
